Holding a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA, she combines deep industry knowledge with strong business acumen to drive operational excellence, innovation, and efficiency at Synterra.

As Director of Operations, Janine plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance, streamlining processes, and leading high-performing teams. Her ability to manage complex field operations and optimise workflows consistently delivers projects to the highest industry standards. Known for her strategic mindset and problem-solving skills, Janine excels at navigating challenges while upholding Synterra’s commitment to quality, safety, and reliability. She is a trusted partner to both clients and contractors, consistently providing exceptional value and fostering strong, collaborative relationships.

Beyond her role at Synterra, Janine is a dedicated advocate for the geophysical industry. She has served as Director of Finance for the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (CSEG) and is currently a board member of the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC), where she contributes to the ongoing development and promotion of industry.
